Regular attendance and being on time are important to being contributing members to any City Lax team.  Players are expected to be at all practices and games, and be prepared to focus and apply themselves so practices are effective and meaningful.  Coaches are volunteers and everyone’s help in making practices and games run smoothly is important.  Playing time in games may be limited by missed practices.  It is the job of each City Lax player or parent to communicate to coaches about the need to miss a practice or game.

City Lax is committed to providing lacrosse at no/low cost to its participants, and in return each player is expected to make a strong commitment to their team, coaches and the organization.  This commitment begins with learning the City Lax model of SOAR - Sportsmanship, Opportunity, Academics and Respect.  Lets find success together.  City Lax will continue to build a support network to assist with the high expectations we have for each City Lax team member.  It is important for every person to develop good habits that will hopefully assist each player in school, at home and in other areas away from the playing fields of lacrosse.  Good behavior and respect for your teammates and coaches are the first steps.  Maintaining good grades in school is also important.  We believe every City Lax player is capable of great things.
